Meet Diana
The idea for this book came from my granddaughter Hazel’s first birthday party. Looking for a book to complement the “One Silly Goose” theme, I came up empty and wrote my own.
As the oldest of four siblings, mother of two, and Lolli to four, I’ve always been surrounded by children and have loved watching them discover and learn. Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to explore, imagine, and build relationships with kids. Working in children’s ministry for many years further established that connection.
Louisiana-born and Texas-grown, my husband Greg and I recently moved to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to our children and grandchildren. As a lifelong lover of words, I’ve always been drawn to children’s books for their simplicity and whimsy.
